What’s your name?
Where do you live?
What is your role at RareMint?
Curator, I’m the guy that procures all the collectibles that become NFTs.
What’s the most exciting part of your job?
I absolutely love speaking with collectors, hearing their stories, and finding rare and unique pieces of history. Plus, I get to dig through old attics, garages, storage units, and hoarders houses, which is kind of cool.
How did you get into Blockchain?
I first heard about blockchain back in late 2017. I have slowly been watching it develop over the last four to five years and been on the sidelines. When the opportunity came up to combine Blockchain and collectibles, I leapt at it last year and joined RareMint!
What is your favorite NFT collection and why?
This is a tough one, there are so many incredible collections. I have to go with our 1989/90 Michael Jordan game used jersey. It’s the genesis NFT for RareMint and I helped find it, document the story and information, and know it is the start of something incredible.
Are you a sports fan? Who are your favorite teams?
I’m a season ticket holder with the Phoenix Suns and have thrown out a first pitch at Wrigley Field. Let’s go Suns and Cubs!
What’s one thing you’re really bad at?
Keeping my cats’ ninja talons clipped (I mean claws).
What’s one thing you’re really good at?
Assessing and researching collectibles.
What do you enjoy most about working at RareMint?
The company culture and heartbeat is lively. We collaborate and everyone helps everyone with anything they can!
Lastly, what’s your idea of a perfect day?
Wake up on a beach somewhere and meditate on the sand near the ocean while listening to the tide and feeling the water. Get out for a nice nature walk or hike, take a few phone calls and meetings to get the creative and intellectual juices flowing, and round it out with a beautiful dinner over the water. Rinse and repeat (some day).
